Born in Alghero, on the island of Sardinia Velio di Nolfo comes to TOZI having previously worked at The Collection Restaurant and Soho House.

Velio brings to TOZI a strong knowledge and intense passion for Italian wines and oversaw the conception of the restaurant’s all-Italian wine and Prosecco list. TOZI is proud to serve wines by a selection of small, independent producers as well as a range of biological wines through its supplier Passione Vino. The list is very accessible from a price point of view, with the aim of opening up a host of new wine discoveries to people whatever their budget. Velio also recommends the creative cocktails that make up the bar list, from the Anita Ekberg to the TOZI Spritz.

Velio has previously worked with TOZI friends and colleagues, Daniele Pampagnin, Maurilio Molteni and Stefano Meloni. He is keen to translate the energy of this friendship into all aspects of the TOZI experience.
